Lets Talk – Marketing

Over the past 10 years Tyson Properties has successfully grown into a national company with over 20 offices throughout Gauteng, Western Cape and KwaZulu Natal. One of the main factors contributing to this success, has been our commitment to exceptional marketing.

Proof of this commitment is that fact that we have just completed our annual budgets, with the value of our new marketing plan increasing to an impressive R14 million. The revised marketing plan includes not only national, but also international coverage of some of the most beautiful homes in South Africa. In keeping with the latest marketing trends, this plan also incorporates new avenues of marketing used by us for the first time, such as digital online marketing through social media and outdoor media in the form of billboards. Both of these have proved extremely successful, especially in establishing the new Tyson Properties offices, and the expansion of our footprint nationally.

Tyson Properties places over 160 pages of property adverts every month through several publications nationally. It is also one of the few companies to promote property to different regions, and not only the area that the property is in.

Some of the marketing that Tyson Properties does everyday includes:

  • Newspaper advertising such as the Sunday Times and Weekend Argus.
  • Magazine advertising in publications such as The Real Estate and our Christie’s Magazine, which is distributed internationally to 74 countries.
  • Property brochures distributed to all our Christie’s offices internationally.
  • Property 24, Private Property and approximately 11 other property portals.
  • International property portals such as Wall Street Journal, Rightmove and Country Life.
  • Our own portals www.tysonprop.co.za and www.christiesrealestate.com
  • Though social media such as Facebook, Twitter and Linked In.
  • Digital videos through You Tube.
  • Billboards and other outdoor media such as street pole adverts.
  • Agent promotional flyers and property hand-outs
  • Public Relations and Advertorials
  • Newsletters – both external and internal
  • E-Property brochures
  • Database marketing

When it comes to marketing property Tyson Properties prides itself on not only delivering, but exceeding expectations. It is undoubtedly this philosophy that differentiates us, and will continue to ensure our success well into the future.
